All but One Site Is Set for Semifinal Games
Santa Margarita (9-3), one victory from appearing in its third straight section final, will host second-seeded Irvine (10-1-1) in the Division VI semifinal Friday at Saddleback College.
Servite (7-5) and top-seeded Woodbridge (11-0-1) expect to play Saturday at Titan Stadium in the other Division VI semifinal, although Servite Coach Larry Toner was awaiting confirmation on the site Saturday evening.
In the Division I semifinals, third-seeded Mater Dei (11-1) and second-seeded Los Alamitos play Saturday at Edison Field. Top-seeded Long Beach Poly (12-0) hosts fourth-seeded La Puente Bishop Amat (11-0-1) Friday at Veterans Stadium.
On Saturday in the Division IX semifinals, second-seeded Brea Olinda (11-1) travels to Lakewood Mayfair (9-3) and Western (9-2) visits top-seeded La Mirada (12-0).
