In Golden State Athletic Conference men’s soccer:

Biola 5, Concordia 1--Phillip Yovino scored three goals in the second half to lead Biola. Eddie McRae added a goal and an assist for Biola (7-4, 1-0).

Patrick Hazen scored Concordia’s goal from five yards in the 84th minute. Shay Fox assisted. Concordia is 1-9-1, 0-1.

In nonconference women’s volleyball:

Chapman 3, Redlands 0--Chapman had no problems sweeping Redlands, 15-3, 15-11, 15-5.

Erika Chaney had 10 kills to lead the Panthers and teammate Katie Huber had six. Junior Lisa Nita had 28 assists and Jen Renteria had three aces for Chapman (4-4).

Marisa Medina had nine kills for Redlands (2-10).
