McCormack was part of a stunning performance by San Clemente which gave the Tritons a 37-14 upset of fourth-ranked Santa Margarita, snapping the Eagles’ 28-game winning streak (the county’s longest current streak). McCormack rushed 15 times for 210 yards and scored on runs of 48, 40 and 53 yards, all on inside reverses.

* Newport Harbor, Senior. Finished second, clocking 16 minutes 8 seconds, on 3.1-mile course to lead Sailors to Stanford Invitational Division II team title on Saturday.
Grant Wagner/Football/Quarterback
* Esperanza, Senior. Passed for six touchdowns, five in the first half, to lead undefeated Esperanza to a 61-14 victory over Long Beach Jordan.
Jamiah Williamson/Football/Running Back
* Western, Junior. Had seven carries for 161 yards (96-yard TD) and three receptions for 176 yards to beat Costa Mesa.
