Carl Richardson rushed for 109 yards in 10 carries and scored two touchdowns for the Raiders (3-1) in a WSC Southern Division victory at Compton.
Richardson, a product of Rio Mesa High, scored on a 52-yard run and a seven-yard pass from Bryan Spencer.
Moorpark’s defense, which held Compton (0-4, 0-1) to 167 yards, scored two touchdowns.
Joseph Kos returned an interception 101 yards for a touchdown to give the Raiders (3-1, 1-0) a 6-0 lead.
Edwin Matau’s 13-yard fumble return for a score padded the lead to 30-0 in the third quarter.
Emmanuel Evans rushed for 90 yards in seven carries for Moorpark and scored on runs of 10 and 20 yards in the fourth quarter.
Spencer, a sophomore from Oxnard High, completed five of 10 passes for 124 yards and one touchdown and had one pass intercepted.
Moorpark amassed 457 yards.
