Evergreen (Wash.) 37, Burroughs 12--Marcus Malu scored three touchdowns for Evergreen, which had a 31-0 lead at the half.

Malu, a senior receiver, opened the scoring with a 50-yard reception, which he followed with a 17-yard run still early in the first quarter.

Malu's third touchdown, on a 12-yard run, gave Evergreen a 24-0 lead midway through the second quarter.

Burroughs committed three turnovers and gained only 46 yards in the first half.

Things went better in the second half when Burroughs quarterback Joe Kroells passed for two touchdowns. Kroell's main target was Kyle Cremarosa, who made 11 catches for 81 yards, including a nine-yard touchdown.
