Cerritos Valley Christian 34, Kilpatrick 6--Quarterback Raymond Gomez threw a 16-yard touchdown pass to Ricardo Ramirez in the second quarter for Kilpatrick at Cerritos.
Albert Youngblood rushed for 74 yards in 12 carries for Kilpatrick (1-1).
First Lutheran 28, Santa Clarita Christian 0--Mike Burris rushed 13 times for 142 yards and two touchdowns, scoring on runs of 39 and 11 yards, and scored on a 42-yard screen pass in an eight-man game for the host Falcons (2-0), who won for the second time in 26 games and beat the Cardinals in their varsity debut.
Frank Durham completed seven of 12 for 82 yards and two touchdowns, and Randy Kirchmann had eight carries for 85 yards for First Lutheran.
Steve Deanda had nine tackles and two sacks, and Serio Gonzalez had two interceptions for the Falcons.
