Oxnard 35, Inglewood 26--James McCowan rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns in 36 carries to lead the Yellowjackets (1-2) at Oxnard. McCowan, who scored on runs of one, 26 and two yards, gave Oxnard a 35-18 lead on a two-yard run midway through the fourth quarter.
Trailing, 18-14, in the second quarter, Oxnard quarterback Louis Williams gave the Yellowjackets a 21-18 lead on the last play of the half when he connected with Jacob Galloway on a 58-yard pass play.
