Chris Lombardo passed for 258 yards and three touchdowns, and St. Bonaventure defeated Nordhoff, 29-0, in a nonleague game Saturday at Ventura High.

The second-quarter outburst by St. Bonaventure (2-1) began after Paul LaPointe intercepted a pass by Brandon Titus at the St. Bonaventure 46-yard line and returned it 41 yards to set up the Seraphs' first touchdown at the Nordhoff 13.

Lombardo passed to Gordo Pinedo three plays later for a seven-yard touchdown and kicked the extra point for a 7-0 edge.

Lombardo completed four of four passes for 39 yards on the Seraphs' next drive, which was capped by a 14-yard score on a screen pass from Lombardo to Mike Spargo with 5:46 to go in the half. A two-point conversion pass gave the Seraphs a 15-0 lead.
