Ventura 26, Harbor 16--Pirate quarterback Brian Shubin passed for three touchdowns, all in the first half, in a Western State Conference interdivision game at Harbor (0-2).
Shubin’s 60-yard touchdown pass to Tico Freeman early in the second quarter put the Pirates (3-0) ahead.
Travis Rogers, the state’s leading rusher, paced Ventura with 153 yards in 36 carries.
