No. 3 Brea Olinda 377, Cerritos 379--John Magana, the sixth man for Brea Olinda, finished with a three-over 74 for fourth place at Western Hills and Lakewood. Jay Hah of Cerritos was the medalist with a 70.
No. 5 San Clemente 387, Carlsbad La Costa Canyon 447--Sophomore Casey Strohsahl was the medalist for the third consecutive time, shooting a three-over 75 at the Pacific Club.
No. 8 Marina 364, Westminster 465--Medalist Scott Osterhout of Marina had four birdies on his way to a one-under 69 at Meadowlark.
In the Anaheim Lions baseball tournament:
Sunny Hills 5, Anaheim 4 (8)--Brent Templeton’s eighth inning single drove in Brad Carmody with the winning run for Sunny Hills (12-4).
Valencia 8, Canyon Country Canyon 5--Chris VanCamp was three for four with two RBIs and two runs scored for Valencia (9-5).
In Orange League softball:
Valencia 3, Savanna 2--Annie Dedic doubled in the sixth to drive in Marissa Mora with the winning run and teammate Michelle Whiteman struck out seven to increase her season total to 105.
At the Woodbridge Classic:
Wet fields wiped out the final day of the tournament, delaying the outcome for one week. The title game between El Toro and Dana Hills will be played on Monday. The championship will be decided at 4:30 p.m. at Harvard Park in Irvine.
