Santa Clara 9, Malibu 7--Danny Chaparro rushed for 85 of his game-high 121 yards in the second half to lead Santa Clara (3-5, 1-1) in a Frontier League game at Malibu.

Paul Macen’s one-yard touchdown run with 7:20 to play in the third quarter put Santa Clara ahead, 9-0.

Tyler Lemkin hooked up with Nick Nordgreen on a 28-yard pass play early in the fourth quarter for Malibu (3-5, 0-3).

Bennie Townsend of Malibu rushed 24 times for 108 yards.

Flintridge Prep 42, Chadwick 0--Devin Brown had 155 yards in 12 carries, including touchdown runs of 57, eight and 14 yards, in a Prep League game at Chadwick.

Omar Dittu rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns in 17 carries.

Flintridge Prep (3-5, 2-1) forced three turnovers, including second-half interceptions by David Poehler and Andrew Walker that led to scores.

Chadwick (2-6, 0-2) managed only 159 yards.
