Running back Rodney Woods of Littlerock might be held out of any contact drills this week, but is expected to play on Friday night in a nonleague game at St. Bernard.
Woods, who rushed for 519 yards in his first two games, was held out of the Lobos’ 41-20 loss to Barstow last week with a separated shoulder.
“We’re just trying to get him healthy,” Coach Jim Bauer said.

It would be difficult to put up more balanced numbers than Paraclete has through four games.
The Spirits, two-time defending Southern Section champions, are 2-2 and have gained 1,095 yards while allowing 1,097.
