* PORTLAND STATE (1-6) AT LOYOLA MARYMOUNT (3-4), 7 P.M., KXLU-FM (88.9)--The Lions broke two long losing streaks--one against Division I teams and the other on the road--in consecutive victories over Cal State Fullerton and Sacramento State and can win their third in succession for the first time since the 1998-99 season. Forward Greg Lakey, a transfer from USC, was the West Coast Conference player of the week after scoring a career-high 29 points against the Hornets.
