Scored 88 goals, had 33 steals and 32 assists, despite drawing the assignment of defending each opponent’s best player. Helped Sea Kings win their second-consecutive section title, 11th overall.

Ian Elliott

FOOTHILL GOALKEEPER JR

A junior national team member, he was the backbone of Foothill’s defense. Averaged 10 saves per game with 291 total, helping the Knights to the Century League title and to the Division I title game.

Charlie Fisher

VILLA PARK UTILITY SR.

A four-year varsity player, he scored 106 goals this season to lead the Spartans to the Division I quarterfinals. He finished with 249 career goals, placing him third in school history.

Josh Hewko

The best driver in the county, he led San Clemente to the Division I quarterfinals with 98 goals. A strong inside driver and the force behind the Tritons’ strong counter-attack.

Set a single-season scoring record for the Chargers with 148 goals. As the team’s only returning starter, he led El Toro to the South Coast League title and the Division I semifinals.

The Pacific Coast League’s MVP, he was a strong candidate for player-of-the-year honors, leading an average Trojan team to the Division II finals. He scored 95 goals despite being double- and triple-teamed.

NEWPORT HARBOR COACH

Despite some early season losses, Kreutzkamp, assisted by Bill Barnett and Lester Cutler, led Newport Harbor to the Southern Section Division I title. It was the Sailors’ 11th title, but their first since 1984.

SECOND TEAM

BRIAN ALEXANDER, Foothill, Utility, Sr.

A standout 2-meter defender who led the Knights in scoring with 89 goals.

RYAN COOK, Newport Harbor, two-meters, Sr.

Led the Sailors with 101 goals--22 in the playoffs--and 90 assists.

MIKE MARCH, Corona del Mar, two-meters, Jr.

Led the Sea Kings with 41 steals and was second in scoring with 62 goals.

JARED JONES, Villa Park, Goalkeeper, Sr.

Had 253 saves to give him 489 in his career, the best in Spartan history.

JOSH JEWETT, La Habra, Utility, Sr.

Led the Highlanders with 107 goals from the two-meter and driver positions.

ERIK GEOFFROY, Los Alamitos, two-meters, Sr.

Led the Griffins’ with 109 goals despite missing three games.

VINCENT BEVINS, Servite, Driver, Jr.

Scored 131 goals to lead the Friars to the Division II semifinals.
