WOODBRIDGE 100 FR.

Time: 12.29. Won Sea View, Orange County and Southern Section Division II titles. Sanford beat defending champion Crystal Davis of Santa Ana Valley in the process.

CORONA DEL MAR 200 SR.

Time: 24.80. Although Morse only ran the event a handful of times this season, she finished first at Orange County Championships and ran county’s top time at Southern Section Division III prelims.

Time: 55.89. Won Orange County title and ran county’s fastest time while winning Southern Section Division III championship. Morse was the ninth county runner to break 56 seconds.

Time: 2:08.16. Won state championship with nation-leading time. Also won Orange County, Division III and Masters titles. Ran the fastest outdoor time in nation this season while winning a state title last week.

Time: 4:50.75. After winning Masters as a sophomore, Steen placed third at state and Masters, and won Orange County and Division II titles.

Time: 10:45.85. Placed fourth at Masters, second in Division II, 14th at state. The only county runner to run both events at the state finals.

MISSION VIEJO 100 HURDLES JR.

Time: 14.07. Placed sixth in state, third at Masters and Division I. Not as strong a finish as 1999, when she was runner-up in state, but she advanced to state for the third consecutive season.

Time: 45.06. Won Orange County title, finished third in Division III and seventh at Masters. Helped Mater to the Orange County title with victories in both hurdle events.

Time: 48.75: Julia Fukuhara, Sr.; Juanita Lawson, So.; Jamie Lenahan, Jr.; Jessica Petar, Sr. Finished second at Southern Section Division II finals with county-leading time.

Time: 3:55.29. Becky Cummins, Fr.; Jenny Cummins, Sr.; Liz Morse, Sr.; Jaycee Mahler, Jr. Won Orange County and Division III titles and finished sixth at Masters with county-leading time.

EDISON HIGH JUMP SO.

Mark: 5-10. Finished second at state, first at Masters and captured second consecutive Division I title. Improved her personal best by two inches while winning the Masters title, then took second in state the following week.

Mark: 19-7 1/4. Won county’s first state title in long jump in 23 years, setting personal best and winning event on final attempt. Won the state title in dramatic fashion, soaring to a personal best on the final jump of the competition.

Mark: 39-7 3/4. Won county title and finished third at FloJo Memorial Arcadia Invitational with fifth-best mark in county history. Also took second in Division II and qualified for state with a fifth-place finish at Masters.

Mark: 40-7. Won Orange County title, finished second in Division II and eighth at Masters.

Mark: 142-2. Won Orange County and Division I titles and finished fifth at the Masters.

MARINA POLE VAULT SR.

Mark: 11-8. Won Orange County title, finished second in Division I and fourth at state. The leading county vaulter since last season, Rebello won her second consecutive Orange County title with ease.

SANTA ANA VALLEY 100 JR.

Time: 12.21. Despite losses to Sanford at the county championships and Division II finals, she still had the fastest mark in the county for the second consecutive season.

Time: 25.07. Finished second in Division II finals with second-fastest time in the county this season, but off from her personal-best of 24.73 she achieved as a sophomore. Davis also finished ninth at Masters.

SANTA MARGARITA 400 SR.

Time: 57.76. Began running the event late in the season and took second at the Division III finals.

Time: 2:16.01. Followed Morse to second-place finishes at the county championships and Division III, then placed sixth at Masters.

Time: 5:00.60. The county’s top cross-country runner last fall proved to be a solid four-lap miler as well.

Time: 14.75. Smashed her lifetime best two weeks in a row, including a fifth-place finish in the hotly-contested Division I race.

MISSION VIEJO 300 HURDLES SR.

Time: 45.93. The most versatile girls’ athlete in the county, Fleskoski was runner-up in both hurdle events at the county championships and was also among the county leaders in the shotput and discus.

Time: 48.78. Meghan Clark, Jr.; Julie Handy, So.; Mandy Prizio, Jr.; Shalanie Ross, Sr. Finished first at the Orange County Championships.

Time: 3:57.91. Annie Briggs, So.; Maribeth Buche, Jr.; Julie Handy, So.; Shalanie Ross, Sr. Ran the second-fastest time in the county this season while finishing sixth in Division I.

COSTA MESA HIGH JUMP FR.

Mark: 5-9. Was a virtual unknown until winning the Division III title four weeks ago. Day came back the next week at Masters and improved her personal best by three inches while placing second, then followed up with a tie for fifth at state.

MISSION VIEJO LONG JUMP JR.

Mark: 19-11. Bethel backed up her second-place finish at state last season with a fourth-place finish 10 days ago.

KATELLA TRIPLE JUMP JR.

Mark: 39-1. Defeated Sanford to win the Division II title, then came back the following week to place seventh at Masters. Also took third at county championships.

Mark: 41-10 1/2. Had the top mark in the county this season, finished fourth at the county championships and fifth in Division II.

Mark: 137-4. Qualified for state with a third-place finish at Masters. Also took fifth in Division II and second at the county championships.
