SEASON AT A GLANCE: Santor, who had 15 home runs and 55 runs batted in last season, fuels one of the most explosive offenses in the region. The Bulldogs’ cleanup hitter will also be counted on defensively, moving to third base after two seasons at second base.
WEEK AT A GLANCE: Santor’s sixth-inning grand slam gave the Bulldogs a 4-3 victory over Thousand Oaks, then ranked No. 2 in the region by The Times. “It was huge, considering the magnitude of the teams,” Coach Mike Van Cheri said. Santor also homered in a 10-0 victory over Grant, totaling seven RBIs in two games.

SPORT: Soccer
SEASON AT A GLANCE: The forward scored 36 goals to help the Chancellors (17-3-1) win the City Section championship for the 11th time in 13 years.

WEEK AT A GLANCE: Pate scored two goals and had an assist in a 4-2 victory over San Pedro to help Chatsworth win its fifth consecutive title. She scored all the goals in a 3-0 semifinal victory over Palisades. “Everything we went over, she executed,” assistant coach Trevor Schmidt said.
