From Staff Reports

Last-place Littlerock High didn’t figure to beat Golden League champion Palmdale for the second time in three days Friday.

Especially with Falcon ace Matt Harrington, perhaps the region’s best pitcher, starting.

But Littlerock completed a two-game sweep when Delwyn Young was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded in the seventh inning, giving the host Lobos a 3-2 victory.

Joe Masiello pitched a five-hitter for Littlerock (5-23, 2-13 in league play), striking out five and walking none.
