Jerome Eason of Antelope Valley has been playing on a broken right foot since he injured it in the season opener against Bakersfield.

The 6-3, 200-pound Eason, the leading receiver for the Antelopes (7-1, 3-0), said he will likely sit out the basketball season to allow the foot to heal. He is a two-year letterman in that sport.
