Chapman may be without its leading rusher, Phil Cruz, when it plays at Azusa Pacific at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Cruz, who has 521 yards rushing this season, suffered a shoulder injury in the Panthers’ 27-26 victory over La Verne last week.

Cal State Fullerton scoring leader Duncan Oughton will sit out the Titans’ final regular-season Mountain Pacific Sports Federation men’s soccer game Saturday against Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. Oughton, who has 15 goals, picked up his fifth yellow card Tuesday in a victory over Concordia.
The Titans (13-4-1, 5-0-1) can clinch first place in the Pacific Division with a victory or a tie Saturday, but they are already assured of one of four berths in the MPSF playoffs Nov. 10 and 12.
* The UC Irvine and Cal State Fullerton women’s soccer teams are looking to end losing streaks in tonight’s regular-season final at 7:30 at Irvine.
The Anteaters (9-7-2, 4-3 in the Big West Conference), who were in first place a week ago, have lost four straight, and the Titans (8-11, 3-4) have lost five of their last eight, including three in a row.
