Riverside Bethel Christian 22, Saddleback Valley Christian 6--Saddleback Valley Christian’s inaugural season came to a close with the loss at St. Margaret’s High.

The Warriors finished with a 1-8 record. Saddleback Valley Christian’s only victory was on Oct. 20, a 26-0 shutout of Sage Hill, also playing its first varsity season. That, however, was a freshman-sophomore game; Saddleback Valley’s record in varsity games was 0-7.

Bethel Christian (2-6) took an early 6-0 lead when Kenjus Watson ran 30 yards for a touchdown with 3:51 left in the first quarter. Watson had 17 carries for 150 yards.
