Burbank 9, Westlake 9--Olga Yepremian won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-1, at No. 1 singles for the host Bulldogs, who won on games, 67-65, in a Division III second-round playoff match at Burbank.

Anna Nazaryan and Joanna Han won their doubles sets, 6-2, 6-3, 6-2, in the decisive set for Foothill League-champion Burbank (16-2).

In other second-round matches:

Calabasas 16, South Hills 2--Erin Everly, Celia Durkin and Monica Wiesener won in singles play to improve to 155-2 for the defending champion Coyotes in a Division IV match at South Hills.

Andrea Leewong and Jackie Yano swept, 6-1, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 1 doubles for Calabasas (19-0).

Chaminade 10, Rosary 8--Alex Gummeson and Mahsa Merat won, 6-2, 7-6, (7-2), 7-6, (7-3), at No. 1 singles to spark the Eagles (15-2) in a Division IV victory at Fullerton Tennis Center.

Troy 18, Simi Valley 0--Melissa Hoang took the only singles game for the Pioneers in a 6-1 loss to No. 1 player Serena Fermin in a Division II match at Simi Valley.

Fermin, Aya Sakoda and Calina Ciobanu combined to win every singles set, eight by 6-0 scores, for No. 2-seeded Troy (18-4).

Campbell Hall 16, Linfield 1--Daron Moore swept her three sets at No. 1 singles by 6-0 scores and Cheyenne Raveche swept at No. 2 singles for the Vikings in a Division V match at Valley College.

Emily Bruckner won two of three sets at No. 3 singles for Campbell Hall (14-2).

Pasadena Poly 16, Buckley 2--Leala Shah and Audrey Chittick each won a set at Nos. 1 and No. 2 singles for the Griffins’ only points in a Division V match at Studio City Golf and Tennis.

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

La Canada def. Rosary, 15-10, 15-5, 4-15, 5-15, 15-8--Tracy Neumeier had 20 digs and 56 assists, and Kalee Heydorff had 22 kills for the No. 4-seeded Spartans in a Division III-AA quarterfinal victory at La Canada.

Vanessa Young had 19 kills and six blocks for La Canada (20-2).

In other quarterfinals:

Corona Del Mar def. Nordhoff, 15-6, 15-3, 15-7--Lindsay Anstandig had 12 kills, Sara Deming had eight and setter Jacqueline Becker had 31 assists, four digs and three aces for host Corona Del Mar (17-9) in a Division III-AA match.

Flintridge Sacred Heart def. Whitney, 15-13, 4-15, 15-10, 10-15, 17-15--Kerry O’Keefe had 23 kills and Jillian Davis added 21 kills and 23 digs to help the Tologs upset No. 4-seeded Whitney in a three-hour Division IV-AA match at Flintridge Sacred Heart.

Sarah Skeehan had 12 kills, 16 digs and 10 blocks for the Tologs (13-4), who staved off four match points.

Village Christian def. Cantwell Sacred Heart, 15-7, 15-6, 15-7--Maria Abaca had 16 kills and 13 digs, and Robin Pearce had 10 kills and 17 digs for No. 3-seeded Village Christian in a Division IV-A match at Cantwell Sacred Heart.

La Reina def. Paraclete, 15-7, 15-4, 15-4--Jennifer Ryan had 17 kills and Ashlie Hain added eight kills and 21 assists for the No. 3-seeded Regents (24-0), who extended their consecutive games winning streak to 69 with a Division V-AA victory at Paraclete (14-5).

Viewpoint def. Laguna Blanca, 15-13, 15-7, 15-13--Calais Brown had 17 kills and Melodie Rahbar had 44 assists for No. 3-seeded Viewpoint (22-0) in a Division V-AA match at Laguna Blanca.
