Santa Paula 33, Bishop Diego 7--Xavier Ramirez rushed for 153 yards and three touchdowns for the Cardinals (9-1-1) at Santa Paula.
Ramirez, who had 16 carries, scored on runs of four, 52 and 23 yards, the latter putting Santa Paula ahead, 27-7 in the fourth quarter.
David Maldonaldo completed seven of 16 passes for 77 yards with two interceptions for Santa Paula.
John Wadkowski had three receptions for 27 yards and Aaron Sanchez had two catches for 33 yards for Santa Paula. Sanchez also scored on a two-yard run in the fourth quarter, when Santa Paula outscored Bishop Diego, 19-0.
Santa Paula held Bishop Diego (5-6) to 48 yards in the first half and 144 overall.
