Same teams, same place. Similar result.

San Bernardino Aquinas, which routed Capistrano Valley Christian three weeks ago in a nonleague game at Laguna Beach High, did it again Friday night, this time 48-0, in a second-round Southern Section Division XIII game.

Aquinas (9-2-1), which won the first time, 60-14, rushed for 441 yards and seven touchdowns, including three by junior Glenn Ohaeri. Ohaeri gained 219 yards in just six carries, all in the first 17 minutes of the game.

Thomas Walton rushed for 109 yards in eight carries, including two touchdowns. His run with 7:08 left in the first half gave the Falcons a 34-0 lead.

Ohaeri scored on runs of 59, 49 and 92 yards. Walton scored from 10 and 37 yards out. And neither needed to carry again in the final two and a half quarters.

Capistrano Valley Christian (8-4) could do little on offense, gaining just 162 yards, including a minus-41 on the ground--the result of six sacks and two bad snaps on punts.

Most of the Eagles’ offense was generated by Jason Ward and Tyler Graves. Ward completed 14 of 31 passes for 203 yards, but had four of his passes intercepted. Graves had nine catches for 162 yards.

Jamie Bray, who came in averaging 124 yards rushing a game, was held to 17 yards in 11 carries and ended his season with 1,384 yards.
