Campbell Hall Courts Victory, 12-6

Cheyenne Reveche swept three sets and Campbell Hall High beat Flintridge Prep, 12-6, in a nonleague girls’ tennis match at Valley College.

Reveche, who improved to 24-0 in sets this season, played No. 1 singles in place of Daron Moore, who sat out because of illness. The Vikings (7-1) also were missing No. 3 player Anne Sweeney, who has an injured toe.

Lenna Vanerian and Bri Delamarter of Campbell Hall won three doubles sets to remain unbeaten.

Crossroads 10, Buckley 8--Rachel Schechter and Elizabeth Burnside surrendered only one game while sweeping three sets for Buckley (1-6, 0-2) in a Delphic League match at Reed Park in Santa Monica.

Leala Shah and Shanassa Roen each won two of three singles sets for Buckley.

BOYS’ WATER POLO

Crescenta Valley 9, Thousand Oaks 3--Ben Tickner scored three goals in the fourth quarter for Crescenta Valley in a quarterfinal game of the South Bay tournament at El Segundo High.

Jeff Little had four goals for Crescenta Valley, which led, 4-2, entering the final quarter. Mike Hoy made 13 saves for the Falcons (13-2).

Little had four goals, Tickner three and David Mulcahey three in Crescenta Valley’s 14-4 first-round victory over Beverly Hills.

Rio Mesa 28, Hueneme 1--Nick Glaze scored 10 goals, and Justin Burdine, Tyler Owens, Jon Gamble and Aaron Boshoff each had three in a Pacific View League game at Oxnard High.

Freshman Vincent Ferro made 14 saves and three steals for Rio Mesa (3-12, 1-1).

GIRLS’ VOLLEYBALL

Viewpoint def. Providence, 15-5, 15-4, 15-11--Sarah Kellard, who had 10 kills, and assist leader Melodie Rahbar paced the Patriots (9-0, 5-0) in a Liberty League match at Viewpoint.

A streak of 43 consecutive victories in league play by Providence (7-2, 5-1) was stopped.
