ATHLETICS
* Saugus High has selected Casey Burrill to be its athletic director, Principal Cheryl Brown announced.
Burrill is baseball coach and a business teacher. He replaces Bill Bolde, who has become assistant principal at Canyon High.
BASEBALL
* Ed Gunny has been elevated from junior varsity to varsity coach at Taft High.
Gunny replaces Rich McKeon, who resigned. The Toreadors also hired Ernie Foli Jr., former Thousand Oaks baseball player, to coach the junior varsity.
* Paul Marietti has taken over as varsity coach at Burbank. He was coach at Compton Dominguez the last two seasons.
