Crescenta Valley Rolls

Senior Jason Hogan scored three touchdowns, including an 89-yard kickoff return, to lead Crescenta Valley to a 24-20 nonleague victory over host Thousand Oaks on Friday night.

Hogan rushed for 64 yards in 17 carries, including two one-yard scoring runs, and caught seven passes for 61 yards.

Hudson Gossard completed 19 of 33 passes for 277 yards and had one interception for Crescenta Valley. The junior quarterback completed nine passes to receiver Jason Burkhart for 166 yards.

Junior Ben Olson of Thousand Oaks completed 18 of 29 passes for 273 yards. Tony Ferrara rushed for 72 yards in 20 carries and scored on touchdowns on runs of six, two and one yard.

Thousand Oaks, which outgained the Falcons, 371-334, twice advanced to the Crescenta Valley one-yard line but did not score.
