Police Arrest Woman in Shooting

A 72-year-old Torrance woman was arrested early Thursday morning on suspicion of fatally shooting her husband in the couple’s home, authorities said.

The woman was arrested at about 1:30 a.m. at her home in the 1800 block of 182nd Street, shortly after she called 911, Torrance police Officer Dennis Addington said.

“Investigators entered the residence and discovered an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds,” he said. “The victim was treated by paramedics, but died as result of his injuries.”
