Oaks Christian 7, Bell-Jeff 0--Ashlee Freeman struck out 18 and took a perfect game into the sixth inning before settling for her fourth no-hitter in a nonleague game at North Ranch Park.
Freeman (15-2) walked the first batter of the sixth inning on a 3-2 pitch. Tiffany Day had three hits, scored three runs and drove in three for the Lions (15-2-2).
HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL
Hart 11, Riverside Arlington 6; Hart 7, Santa Margarita 4--The Indians (17-0), ranked No. 2 in the region by The Times, won two pool play games at the Villa Park tournament.
Against Arlington (7-8), Bill Susdorf had three doubles and Hart rallied from a 4-0 deficit.
Against Santa Margarita (8-7), Chris Giordano hit a grand slam in the fifth inning to break a 2-2 tie.
Crescenta Valley 9, El Camino Real 6--Kris Krise (4-1) struck out nine and scattered seven hits as the No. 9-ranked Falcons survived five errors to win a Babe Herman tournament National Division pool-play game at Stengel Field in Glendale.
Kyle Barrett had two hits and drove in two runs, and Aaron McGuinness added a two-run single for Crescenta Valley (11-3).
Apolonio Gomez had two hits and knocked in a run for the Conquistadores (7-6), who committed nine errors.
Camarillo 12, Oxnard 1--Andrew Berkovich hit a grand slam and Justin Peterson had two hits and three runs batted in for the Scorpions (14-5, 7-0) in a Pacific View League game at Camarillo.
COLLEGE BASEBALL
Cal State Northridge 6, Loyola Marymount 1--Bobby Graves (1-0) allowed one run in five innings and Robert Smith had two hits, including his 10th home run, for the Matadors (23-13) in a nonconference victory at Loyola Marymount (15-25).
Pepperdine 12, UC Riverside 5--Duke Sardinha hit two home runs for the No. 19 Waves in a nonconference game at Pepperdine.
Danny Garcia had four hits and four RBIs for Pepperdine (24-12), which had 14 hits.
WOMEN’S GOLF
Matador Spring Classic--Kelley Carlson of Cal State Northridge shot 76-78--154 to win the Matador Spring Classic at Saticoy Country Club in Somis.
Freshman Elizabeth Allen tied for fifth at 81-81--162 and helped the Matadors finish second, four strokes behind Portland State.
