Estancia Beats Sea Kings in Baseball

Estancia’s Jordan Hart pitched a complete game for the fourth time this season, defeating ninth-ranked Corona del Mar, 5-2, in a Sea View League baseball game Tuesday at Estancia.
Hart (3-3) also singled in a run in the fifth, and Justin Lund had two hits and two RBIs for the Eagles (6-13, 3-7).
Corona del Mar dropped to 14-7, 9-1.
In another Sea View League game:
University 18, Laguna Beach 14--Kevin Conlin slugged two home runs and had five RBIs for University, which had five team home runs. University improved to 12-8-1 (6-3-1), Laguna Beach dropped to 5-7.
In Century League boys’ golf:
Canyon 207, Orange 236--For the eighth time this season, freshman Chad Blakney earned medalist honors for the Comanches (3-6 in league), shooting a one-under 35 at Anaheim Hills.
In the Golden West League:
Ocean View 219, Troy 219 (Ocean View wins on sixth man)--Ocean View won its first Golden West League title since 1985. Evan Custer of Ocean View (8-5, 5-1) shot a 40 at Mile Square and was medalist.
In the Orange League:
Brea Olinda 192, Valencia 220--Ryan Wright had two birdies and was medalist with a one-under 34 at Western Hills as Brea Olinda won its fifth consecutive Orange League championship.
In the Serra League:
No. 2 Santa Margarita 194, Mater Dei 231--Taylor Wood shot two-under 34 for Santa Margarita (10-2, 2-1) at Dove Canyon. The Eagles play top-ranked Servite today at Coto de Caza.
In the Sunset League:
No. 9 Esperanza 188, No. 5 Huntington Beach 193--Junior Mike Dunn shot a one-under-par 34 and Scott Danforth added a 37 for the host Aztecs (13-3, 5-3) at Yorba Linda. Andy Anderson carded a 37 for Huntington Beach (13-3, 5-3).
In Sea View League boys’ tennis:
No. 4 Woodbridge 13, Aliso Niguel 5--Brett Van Linge (6-0, 6-0, 6-2), Eric Oijala (6-0, 6-2, 6-2) and the No. 1 doubles team of Bijan Noroozi and Paul Strozier (6-4, 6-0, 6-1) all swept for Woodbridge (14-4, 7-0).
In the South Coast League:
No. 7 Dana Hills 14, San Clemente 4--Sumil Menon swept in singles, 6-4, 6-2, 6-2, and Jordan Villwock and Blake Meister swept in doubles, 6-2, 6-0, 6-0, for Dana Hills (12-4, 7-1). Villwock and Meister have lost only two sets all season.
In South Coast League boys’ volleyball:
No. 4 Capistrano Valley 3, Mission Viejo 1--Chris Hermanas had 17 kills and Jeff Craw 48 assists for Capistrano Valley (11-0, 7-0).
In the Sunset League:
No. 10 Edison 3, Los Alamitos 1--Sean McLaren recoded 23 kills and Tim Jarratt added five blocks and 10 kills as Edison (8-5, 5-2) won, 15-7, 14-16, 15-8, 15-5.
