Dana Hills Doubles Team Fallsin Semifinals of Orange Bowl

Dana Hills High’s Kady Pooler and Irvine Woodbridge’s Elizabeth Exon lost to Lolita Frangulyan of Bradenton, Fla., and Varvara Lepchenko of Uzbekistan, 6-3, 7-5, Friday in the girls’ 16 doubles semifinals of the 55th annual Orange Bowl international tennis championships at Crandon Park in Key Biscayne, Fla.

Pooler is the Southern California sectional singles champion. She and Exon took fourth in the U.S. Tennis Assn. girls’ 16 super national clay-court championships earlier this year.
