Compton Centennial 81, Woodland Hills Taft 57--In his second game of the season, Lynwood transfer Darius Sanders scored 18 points to lead the Apaches (5-0) past the Toreadors (5-3) in a semifinal of the Washington Prep tournament.

Gabriel Pruitt added 18 points and Arron Afflalo 16 for No. 13 Centennial, which meets the winner of the late semifinal between Palisades and Venice in tonight’s championship game at 6:30.

Mustafa Asghari had 14 points to lead Taft, which continues to play without All-City guard Steve Smith, who is expected to sit out three more weeks because of a knee injury suffered during the football season.
