Chino Ayala 53, Oxnard 42--Tiffany Walker scored 12 points and Sarah Queen had eight points and 11 rebounds for host Oxnard (8-8) in a nonleague game.

Bell-Jeff 69, Cantwell Sacred Heart 59--Ana Coronado had 29 points, 15 rebounds and seven blocked shots tfor Bell-Jeff (9-8, 3-1) in a Camino Real League game at Cantwell Sacred Heart.

Julie Van Dyke scored 17 points and Jennae Peoples had 15 points and 15 rebounds for Bell-Jeff, which got off to a 21-4 lead.

BOYS’ BASKETBALL

Providence 73, Viewpoint 38--Derek Jones scored 30 points for Providence (10-6, 6-1) in a Liberty League game at Viewpoint.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

Cal Lutheran 81, Caltech 45--Justin Muth scored eight of his 16 points for Cal Lutheran during a 24-2 run early in the first half of a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference game at Caltech.

Reserve Logan Steinhauer scored 13 for the Kingsmen (9-4, 2-0), who forced 21 of Caltech’s 30 turnovers in the first half.

Jonathan Bird had 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Beavers (2-9, 0-2), who have lost 31 consecutive games to Cal Lutheran.

Glendale 75, Citrus 63--Tim Taylor had 24 points and 13 rebounds for the Vaqueros in a Western State Conference Southern Division victory at Glendale.

Glendale (14-7, 2-1) used a 12-0 run midway through the second half to break open a one-point game.

Michael Schnyder finished with 21 points and Marc Walters had 11.

Canyons 63, West L.A. 60--Jerome Edwards had 20 points and 14 rebounds for Canyons (7-15, 2-2) in a WSC Southern Division game at West L.A.

Antelope Valley 66, Rio Hondo 62--Forward Jimmy White scored 27 points and Jonathan Nave added 13 for the Marauders (9-10, 2-0) in a Foothill Conference game at Rio Hondo.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Ventura 88, Moorpark 43--Estelle Diaz had 16 points and eight rebounds for host Ventura (20-4, 4-0) in a WSC Northern Division game.

Ventura’s Monique Taylor had 12 points and four steals.

Canyons 77, West L.A. 56--Siosi Tuli had 18 points and 11 rebounds, and the Cougars (17-6, 4-0) took over first place in the Western State Conference Southern Division with a victory at West L.A.

LaTanya Robnett had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Canyons.

MEN’S VOLLEYBALL

Pepperdine def. CS Northridge, 30-27, 30-27, 30-22--Brad Keenan had 12 kills and one error in 15 attempts for Pepperdine in the third round of the UC Irvine tournament.

Scott Wong had 12 kills for the Waves (3-0).

Joe Nargi had 17 kills for Northridge (2-2) and Eckhard Walter had 15.

UCLA def. CS Northridge, 30-23, 29-31, 30-23, 30-24--Nargi had 19 kills in a second-round match.

Teammate John Baxter had 40 assists and seven digs, and Walter served eight aces.

Pepperdine def. UC Irvine, 30-24, 30-23, 31-29--Scott Wong had 11 kills and Lance Walker had 10 in a second-round match.

Keith Barnett had 39 assists for Pepperdine and Brad Keenan had eight kills.
