No. 3 El Dorado 68, Cypress 10--Two El Dorado wrestlers won by major decisions: Matt Ruhlen (119) defeated Justin Allard, 14-2, and Andrew Wilson (125) defeated Mike Pritchard, 16-2. Andrew Powell (152) of Cypress also scored a major decision over Mark Vega, 10-2.
No. 8 Loara 55, Century 18--The Saxons won 10 matches, five of them by forfeit, to stay in second place with a 3-1 league record. Loara leaders were Jose Hernandez (heavyweight), who pinned Simon Renteria in 2:28, and Hebrew Aguilar (171), who pinned Noel Cordova in 3:51.
