El Modena 4, Rosemead 0--Ashley Van Boxmeer tripled home three runs for the visiting Vanguards (18-10-1), who next play host to third-seeded Hacienda Heights Wilson.
Kennedy 7, Temple City 0--Michelle Turner struck out 17 of 21 batters in pitching her second perfect game and third no-hitter of the season. Turner, catcher Brooke Porter and shortstop Breanne Sabol had three hits apiece for Kennedy (20-6), which plays Cerritos Gahr on Tuesday.
Laguna Hills 10, Norwalk 2--Stephanie Morgan had three hits, including a triple, and four RBIs for host Laguna Hills. Lindsay Davis had a triple and two RBIs for the Hawks (23-5), who next play Sonora.
Pacifica 7, Covina Charter Oaks 0--Amy Mayrhofer was three for three with two RBIs, and Mallorie Lenn, Jamie Waldecker, Jodie Legaspi and Colbee Shackelford had two hits each for the Mariners (23-6), who will play at Valencia.
Sonora 4, Torrance 1--Carrie Wisen (17-8) pitched a one-hitter and struck out seven, and Jeanine Baca and Michelle Miller had an RBI for the host Raiders (20-10). Torrance is 16-9.
Valencia 1, Temecula Chaparral 0--Michelle Whiteman (18-8) allowed only a fourth-inning single and struck out 10, and Angie Goberdhan singled home Brooke Pauly with the game’s only run for the Tigers (20-10).
