BOYS
1. Canyon Country Canyon (SS-Foothill)
Cowboys will face superb field in team sweepstakes race of Mt. San Antonio College Invitational on Saturday.
2. Long Beach Poly (SS-Moore)
Defending state Division I champion Jackrabbits will race Canyon for the third time this season in Mt. SAC Invitational.
3. Riverside Rubidoux (SS-Sunkist)
Falcons defeated Temecula Valley, 60-87, to win inaugural Inland Empire Challenge.
4. Lake Forest El Toro (SS-South Coast)
Chargers move up three spots after runaway victory in Orange County championships
5. Temecula Valley (SS-Southwestern)
Golden Bears were second in Inland Empire meet while competing without No. 2 runner John Mendoza.
6. Dana Point Dana Hills
(SS-South Coast)
Dolphins were fourth in Orange County championships but attach minimal importance to that meet.
7. Rosemead Bosco Tech
(SS-Camino Real)
Tigers will run in individual sweepstakes race at Mt. SAC Invitational.
8. Oak Park (SS-Tri-Valley)
Eagles will bypass Mt. SAC Invitational, prepare for Ventura County championships next Friday.
9. Barstow (SS-Desert Sky)
Aztecs will face Estancia in Division III sweepstakes race at Mt. SAC Invitational this afternoon.
10. Costa Mesa Estancia
(SS-Pacific Coast)
Eagles bypassed Orange County championships to prepare for Mt. SAC Invitational.
GIRLS
1. Anaheim Esperanza (SS-Sunset)
Aztecs move up four spots in rankings after runaway victory in Orange County championships.
2. Dana Point Dana Hills
(SS-South Coast)
Dolphins were third in Orange County championships, but could contend for title in team sweepstakes race of Mt. San Antonio College Invitational on Saturday.
3. Murrieta Valley (SS-Southwestern)
Nighthawks had five of the top 12 finishers while winning Inland Empire Challenge.
4. Irvine Woodbridge (SS-Sea View)
The top-ranked Division II team in state placed second in Orange County championships.
5. Yucaipa (SS-San Andreas)
Thunderbirds will race Esperanza, Dana Hills, Murrieta Valley, Ayala and Peninsula in team sweepstakes at Mt. SAC Invitational.
6. Chino Hills Ayala (SS-Sierra)
Bulldogs bypassed Inland Empire meet to prepare for Mt. SAC Invitational.
7. Palos Verdes Peninsula (SS-Bay)
Panthers had six of top 10 finishers in Bay League meet on Oct. 11.
8. Canyon Country Canyon (SS-Foothill)
Cowboys will run in individual sweepstakes race at Mt. SAC Invitational.
9. Santa Ana Foothill (SS-Century)
Emily Haigh and sisters Laura and Katie Strachan led Knights to fourth-place finish in Orange County championships.
10. Newport Beach Corona del Mar
(SS-Pacific Coast)
Sea Kings place fifth in Orange County championships, make their first appearance in top 10.
