Cerritos running back Ken Frank rushed for 119 yards and two touchdowns and also intercepted a pass with 1:24 left to preserve a 21-14 victory over Lakewood Artesia that kept Cerritos unbeaten.

UPSETS

Huntington Beach Marina defeated Anaheim Esperanza, 35-14.

Turill Engelman rushed for 211 yards as the Vikings beat Esperanza for the first time in Sunset League play.

West Covina defeated Diamond Bar, 26-20.

The Bulldogs drove 80 yards for a touchdown in the final 2:40 to end Diamond Bar’s 17-game Sierra League winning streak.

Santa Paula defeated Ojai Nordhoff, 28-20.

David Maldonado completed 17 of 27 passes for 280 yards and three touchdowns as the Cardinals defeated previously unbeaten Nordhoff.
