Fox Will Televise 14 Prep Football Games

Fox Sports Net 2 will begin its coverage of high school football Friday when it televises the intersectional game between Westchester and Long Beach Poly, delayed, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The game starts at 7.
The cable station will televise 10 regular season and four playoff games this season. A Sept. 13 matchup between Newhall Hart and Ventura St. Bonaventure at Ventura High, which starts at 7:30 p.m., will be shown at 11 p.m.
Also shown will be the Sept. 21 game between Los Angeles Loyola and Pasadena Muir at 4 p.m. Sept. 22. All other games will be shown live, beginning at 7:30 p.m.
The rest of the schedule: Sept. 27--Thousand Oaks at Westlake Village Westlake; Oct. 11--Fountain Valley at Los Alamitos; Oct. 25--Anaheim Servite at Santa Ana Mater Dei; Nov. 8--Wilmington Banning at Carson.
The cable station will also show games that have not yet been determined Oct. 6, Oct. 18 and Nov. 1.
