Another Infant Girl’s Body Is Found
From Times Staff and Wire Reports
The body of an infant girl was found on a front porch Tuesday, within hours of the discovery of a second infant at the shoreline in Long Beach.
The girl’s body, wrapped in a blanket in the 1400 block of West 15th Street in South Los Angeles, was discovered at 11:30 p.m.
Earlier, the body of another infant girl, apparently a few days old, was found washed ashore.
California’s Safe Haven law allows anyone to bring an unwanted baby to a hospital or fire station anonymously and with no questions asked.
