Cyclist Fatally Injured in Collision With Car

A 69-year-old bicyclist was struck and killed Saturday after he failed to yield at a stop sign and collided with a car, police said.
His name was not released pending notification of relatives.
He was riding east on Gilbert Street about 1:20 p.m. but did not stop at the sign and continued onto Transit Avenue, where he was struck by a 1995 Mercury Cougar, police said.
The driver was not cited.
