Woman Is Charged With 19 Burglaries
A 31-year-old woman has been charged with committing 19 burglaries this spring in Manhattan Beach, Culver City and Hermosa Beach, police said Tuesday.
Edith Serrano was driving a stolen car when Manhattan Beach police arrested her May 8, police said.
Detectives found hundreds of stolen items in her Culver City hotel room and seized two vehicles, one taken in a burglary and another stuffed to its roof with stolen goods, police said. Some of the burglaries occurred while residents were sleeping.
Serrano is being held on $300,000 bail.
