City Wrestling Pioneer DeJohn Dies
Sam DeJohn, who guided San Fernando High to six City Section wrestling championships and was a pioneer in bringing wrestling to the Los Angeles Unified School District, has died of cancer in Oxford, Miss. He was 69.
DeJohn coached at San Fernando from 1965-91.
