1. San Marcos (SS-Channel, 8-0): Further cemented top spot with 18-stroke victory over Santa Margarita (No. 1 last week).
2. Riverside Poly (SS-Ivy, 6-0): Strong start has fueled hopes for a postseason title (4).
3. Santa Margarita (SS-Serra, 3-1): Should have no trouble recovering from loss to San Marcos (2).
4. Palm Desert (SS-Desert Valley, 2-1): One-stroke loss to Santa Margarita could have gone either way (3).
5. Long Beach Wilson (SS-Moore, 2-0): Bruins have seven players that can go low (5).
6. Camarillo (SS-Pacific View, 7-0): Cruised to easy 388-455 victory in only match of the week (7).
7. Esperanza (SS-Sunset, 4-0): Jay Choe and Derek Sipe have ignited solid start for Aztecs (10).
8. Westlake (SS-Marmonte, 7-1): Thursday’s wind blew Warriors away--they shot 420 (6).
9. Atascadero (SS-Los Padres, 5-2): Were within three shots of San Marcos in a 397-400 loss (NR).
10. La Mirada (SS-Suburban, 6-0): Young team is searching for consistency after nine-hole rounds of 194 and 204 (9).
