Roster Announced for Shrine Football

The Shrine high school all-star football game will return to its original format of pitting Northern California against Southern California after seven years of matching California against Texas.

The 51st annual game, which benefits Shriners Hospitals for Children, will be held July 13 at Mt. San Antonio College. The South held a 21-16-6 lead in its series against the North before the format was changed in 1995. California won the first six games in its series with Texas before losing, 10-7, last season.

The South will be coached by Chino High’s John Monger. The roster:
