6 Hurt in SUV Rollover on I-5, Officials Say
Three Fresno women and three children were injured Friday when their sport utility vehicle rolled over on the Golden State Freeway in Castaic, ejecting two of the women and a baby, officials said.
Officials said Tonya Jordan, 35, drifted onto the median and lost control. The SUV overturned, ejecting Sherrie Turner, 58, and Treasure Scott, 24.
Scott was holding her baby son when she was thrown out, the California Highway Patrol said. He was in serious but stable condition.
A 2-year-old girl and a 5-year-old boy suffered minor injuries, as did the women, the CHP said.
