3 Plead Not Guilty in Attack on 2 Men, 2 Girls
Two men and a woman accused of beating and robbing four people in a parked car this week have pleaded not guilty, authorities said.
Jason Clark Harper, 21, and Neil Joseph Zajic, 25, both of Placentia, and Jennifer Michelle Stokes, 22, of Anaheim were arraigned Wednesday. They were arrested late Monday after police stopped their car, which matched the suspects’ vehicle description, in Placentia. A fourth suspect is at large.
Police said the group attacked two men and two teenage girls sitting in a parked car in the 4700 block of Greencrest Drive about 8:40 p.m. Monday then fled in a white Ford Bronco, said Sgt. Jack Conklin of the Brea Police Department. The victims suffered cuts and bruises but did not require hospitalization.
