4 Gunmen Sought in Restaurant Robbery
Police are still seeking four armed men who burst into a Panda Express restaurant and ordered employees into an unlocked walk-in refrigerator before fleeing with an unknown amount of cash.
The robbery occurred about 10:30 p.m. Monday, shortly after the restaurant in the 2100 block of North Rose Avenue had closed for business.
No one was injured, police said.
The robbers, who wore ski masks, entered through a back door and herded three employees into the refrigerator. A fourth worker was told to put cash from the registers into a bag and then was ordered to join the others.
Employees called police seconds after the robbers fled.
