Woman’s Body Found in Apartment; Man Jailed

A Huntington Beach man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a woman’s body was found inside his apartment, police said.
Jamie Balint, 30, was being held at Orange County Jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
The woman, who was not identified pending notification of relatives, suffered multiple wounds, including stab wounds, police said.
She was found Monday night on the floor of the apartment in the 300 block of 5th Street, Huntington Beach Police Lt. Janet Perez said.
