* Tonight, Brea Olinda plays host to Placentia El Dorado in a Century League game. It’s a new league for both schools, and notable for Brea, which has won 20 consecutive league titles and 141 consecutive league games, both section records. In two very competitive leagues, Valencia plays at Saugus in the Foothill and Santa Ana Mater Dei plays at Santa Margarita in the Serra.

* Thursday, Ventura is at Ventura Buena in the Channel League, while Torrance Bishop Montgomery plays at La Puente Bishop Amat in the Del Rey League, Santa Margarita plays at Fullerton Rosary in the Serra.
