* Sophia Lenard scored 30 points as Carson defeated L.A. Garfield, 66-45, to win the Fairfax tournament title. Both teams are 13-2.

* Lauren Ervin had 17 points and 24 rebounds as Inglewood defeated Inglewood Morningside, 49-43.

* Meghan Ondatje scored 34 points in Covina Charter Oak's 74-68 victory over Hacienda Heights Wilson.





* Kelly Blair's 15-footer with two seconds left gave Morro Bay a 43-42 victory over Santa Maria.

* Julia Pederson scored the final four points, including the game-winning basket with seven seconds left, to give Santa Margarita a 40-38 victory over Orange Lutheran.

* Maureen Ezeike's putback with four seconds left gave Ridgecrest Burroughs a 47-46 upset of Victorville Silverado.

* Jessica Fisiikava scored eight of her 25 points in overtime in San Bernardino Cajon's 60-53 victory over then-No. 18 San Bernardino.



* Tonight, Brea Olinda plays host to Placentia El Dorado in a Century League game. It's a new league for both schools, and notable for Brea, which has won 20 consecutive league titles and 141 consecutive league games, both section records. In two very competitive leagues, Valencia plays at Saugus in the Foothill and Santa Ana Mater Dei plays at Santa Margarita in the Serra.

* Thursday, Ventura is at Ventura Buena in the Channel League, while Torrance Bishop Montgomery plays at La Puente Bishop Amat in the Del Rey League, Santa Margarita plays at Fullerton Rosary in the Serra.

* Friday , Newhall Hart is at Burbank Burroughs in the Foothill League.

* Saturday at Lynwood, the Knights, ranked No. 1 by The Times and No. 3 nationally in at least one publication, play fifth-ranked Jacksonville (Fla.) Ribault, which has a 105-game winning streak. At Artesia, six games are highlighted by Long Beach Wilson vs. Lakewood Artesia at 4:15 p.m., and Alhambra Keppel vs. Rialto Eisenhower at 6 p.m.
