Nat Borchers scored in the second half to rally the Colorado Rapids to a 1-1 tie with the Kansas City Wizards in the first game of their Major League Soccer playoff series Tuesday night.

Borchers’ goal, on a header in the 53rd minute, came on his first shot this season.

Wolde Harris, who played for Colorado from 1997 to 1999, scored in the third minute.

Kerry Zavagnin found Harris alone on the left sideline, and the forward scored from 12 yards, beating Tony Meola with a shot inside the left post.
