Girl, 15, Is Found Safe but Refuses to Go Home

A missing 15-year-old Santa Ana girl who was feared kidnapped told police Thursday that she was staying with her boyfriend and did not want to go home, officials said.
Marisol Cortez was reported missing Monday night from her home on Virlee Street.
Her mother had told authorities that the girl had the mental capacity of a 6-year-old, but that appeared false, police said.
On Thursday morning, police talked to the girl for an hour on the phone and discovered that she was staying nearby with her boyfriend.
